Dr. Bo Bai is the Chairman and founder of Metaverse Green Exchange (MVGX) and Asia Green Fund (AGF). From 2009-2016, Dr. Bai worked for Warburg Pincus. As a Partner and Managing Director, he led its investments in the energy, industrials and business services sectors in Asia. Previously, he worked at First Reserve Corporation and Goldman Sachs. Dr. Bai is the Chairman of East Low Carbon, and a director of Capital Heating, Four Rivers, Huitongda, Novo Environment, and AiPark.Dr. Bai holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, a certificate from the Sloan School of Management at MIT in the Financial Technology Option and a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT.

Dr. Yan Li has served as the chairman of our board of directors since March 2018, our chief executive officer since December 2017 and our chief operating officer since January 2016. Prior to joining our company in 2016, Dr. Li was a principal at KKR Capstone Limited from 2009 to 2015 and he oversaw KKR Capstone Limited’s portfolio operation in China; Dr. Li was awarded the Operational Excellence Award by Private Equity International in 2012. Prior to KKR Capstone Limited, Dr. Li worked for McKinsey & Company from 2008 to 2009, where he advised various companies in high-tech, industrial goods and retail sectors. Prior to McKinsey, Dr. Li worked as a senior research engineer at Qualcomm Inc. in San Diego, CA from 2006 to 2008, focusing on the development of 3G and 4G communications technology. Dr. Li holds three patents on 3G communications. Dr. Li received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2001 and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2005, both in electrical engineering.

Dr. Kevin Tang has had substantial experience with planning consultation, project research, and project implementation related to intelligent energy, and has extensive expertise in low-carbon energy planning, natural gas distributed energy, and multi-complementary intelligent energy projects.
Kevin has been engaged in several research projects for the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, and the Distributed Energy Special Committee of the China Urban Gas Association. He participated in the compilation of two industry standards, three monographs such as the "China Gas Distributed Energy Industry Report" as well as other articles, and holds multiple patents.

Dr. Lei Yang is Research Professor and Deputy Dean of the Institute of Energy, Peking University. He is also a member of the Academic Committee of the Energy Transition and Social Development Research Center of Tsinghua University, President-elect of International Gas Union coordination committee, and the Deputy Director of the editorial board of "International Petroleum Economy" and “Petroleum and New Energy”. He has served as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director Fatih BIROL of the International Energy Agency from 2016 to 2019, Director and Deputy Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration since 2002. He is committed to promoting energy transition, energy reform, and global energy governance, participated in the research and formulation of a number of energy policies, and is enthusiastic about the Public Awareness of energy. He is the author of several popular energy related books and articles.

Ted Chan has been with the Boston Consulting Group for 20+ years and is now a Managing Director and Partner with the firm. He is a co-leader of BCG China’s Climate and Sustainability practice, which has been identified as a top priority focus for BCG globally in the next few years. Ted has substantial experiences with technology, consumer, industrial goods, and healthcare industries over the years across a wide range of topics, and most recently has been focusing on helping clients across industries address the huge challenges and opportunities that come with climate change and other sustainability issues. Ted also leads BCG’s overall talent acquisition activities in Asia Pacific. Between 2014 and 2017, Ted was the Group Chief Strategy Officer of SF Express, the leading logistics player in China, and was part of the senior leadership team that took the company public by early 2017.
