Chun-ying Leung

Mr. C Y Leung graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic and Bristol Polytechnic UK. He has been awarded Honorary Doctorate degrees by four universities in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Shandong.

Since the late 1970s, Mr. Leung had participated in the land and housing reforms in China and helped prepare the first land sale in the Mainland after China's constitution was amended in 1988.

Between 1984 and 1997, Mr. Leung held senior positions in the entire political transition to the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Between 1997 and 2011, Mr. Leung was a member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong and was the Convenor of the non-official members between 1999 and 2011. 

In March 2012, Mr. Leung was elected the fourth-term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  In March 2017, he was elected Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

In September 2017, Mr. Leung founded the Belt and Road Hong Kong Centre and the Greater Bay Area Centre.  In 2018, he also founded the GX Foundation Company Limited.

Madhav V. Rajan

Madhav Rajan joined the Chicago Booth faculty on July 1, 2017, as Dean and George Shultz Professor of Accounting. 

Before coming to Booth, he spent 16 years on the faculty of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, including 6 years as Senior Associate Dean and head of the MBA program. Previously, he spent 11 years on the faculty at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Madhav received his master’s and PhD degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.

As dean of Booth, Madhav has focused on deepening the school’s ties to the University of Chicago, attracting and retaining the best faculty, launching fundraising campaigns for research support and scholarships, and expanding the school’s global footprint in Asia and EMEA.

Madhav’s primary area of research interest is management accounting. For the past 10 years, he has served as a Director of iShares.

Dennis Chookaszian is the former Chairman and CEO of CNA Financial (CNA) and is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He serves on the board of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in addition to numerous other prominent board appointments for publicly traded and private companies as well as not-for-profit organizations, including a Trustee of Northwestern University and on the Deans Council of the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. Chookaszian is a respected cryptocurrency expert and sits as a board advisor to the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association (GDCA). He is also on the advisory board of Spores Capital, an NFT Ecosystem company that powers Web3 entertainment and marketing experiences, where he will offer counsel on tokenomics across the Spores Network ecosystem and governance across the venture capital fund. He is also on the board of Diffuse, which manages three crypto currency funds.
