机遇与挑战
The theme of this year's UChicago Graduate China Forum, “Silver Lining: Seeking Collaborative Innovation Amid a New Paradigm,” emphasizes the exploration of collaborative strategies to address mutual challenges in the U.S. and China, the world's two largest economies. The forum will delve into the impacts of pressing issues on consumer markets, legal trends in capital markets, technological advances, healthcare innovations, and energy sector developments. These include concerns about AI and automation, environmental sustainability, and inflationary pressures. Through this lens, the event seeks to foster discussions on how these significant challenges can be transformed into opportunities for joint innovation and strategic cooperation. This gathering will serve as an intellectual nexus for eminent academics, policymakers, and industry leaders to engage in rigorous analysis and cultivate partnerships that aim to steer both nations towards sustainable and resilient economic futures.
